Seven deadly sins
It is more than 30 years since we last had a referendum on what is now called
the European Union.
Back then people thought they were voting to stay in a common market
In fact, they had signed up to the creation of a common country.
That country is called Europe, and its capital is Brussels.
It is time we had another referendum to return seven vital powers from Brussels
to Britain. We want the power:
- To make our own laws
- To set our own spending limits
- To manage the countryside
- To exclusively fish our own
territorial coastal waters
- To trade with who we want and how we want
- To scrap the Brussels-inspired regions and end the
break up of Britain
- To decide who we let into the country by getting control of our own
borders back.
